Code of conduct
Players:

Play football to enjoy yourself, and accept that striving to win is more important than winning itself.

Victory and defeat are inevitable, and should be accepted equally.

Understand and abide by the laws, rules and spirit of the game and any competition in which you participate.

Players will exhibit good sportsmanship at all times, never condone violations of the laws of the game or exhibit behaviour contrary to the spirit of the laws of the game.

Consistently display high standards of behaviour.

Respect the referee’s decisions at all times.

Treat opponents with respect at all times, and avoid words or actions that may mislead a match official.

No offensive, abusive or insulting remarks shall be made toward any other player, official or parent.

Encourage your teammates – you cannot win a game on your own.

At the final whistle, shake hands with your opponents and the referee.
Parents/coaches:

Remember that children should be playing football primarily for their own enjoyment.

Do not put pressure on the children.

Place the well-being and safety of each player above all other considerations.

Praise effort and performance, not results.

Parents must encourage and guide players to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance.
